The 13 Court Guard Squads From Bleach Anime Movie

As previously mentioned, the Sereitei's fighting forces are divided into 13 seperate squads each with a Captain and his or her respective Lieutenant (Vice-Captain in the original version). There are also a number of "Seated Officer" positions, from 3 to 20 (2 being Lieutenant). It has also been revealed that there are at times seperate divisions within the squads, such as Hanatarou being 7th seat, and also the leader of the 14th relief squad. Each squad has it's speciality, Squad 11 specializes in combat while Squad 4 act as the medics. So even if you didn't ask for it, here's the list of each Squad's Captain and Lieutenant, as well as a few others, including each squad's respective symbol.

Squad 1:

Captain: Shigekuni Genreyusi Yamamoto(old man ‘Yama)– he’s also the head captain of all the squads
Lieutenant: Chōjirō Sasakibe

Squad 2: 

Squad 2 act as the security force of the Seireitei, and house the Stealth and Punishment Forces 
Captain: Soi Fon

Lieutenant: Marechiyo Ōmaeda

Squad 3:

Captain (former): Gin Ichimaru

Captain (former after Gin): Shusuke Amagai

Lieutenant: Izuru Kira

Squad 4: 

Squad 4 is an advanced relief squad for injured Shinigami, in other words, the medics

Captain: Retsu Unohana

Lieutenant: Isane Kotetsu

7th Seat, leader of the 14th relief squad: Hanataro Yamada

Squad 5:

Captain (former): Sosuke Aizen

Lieutenant: Momo Hinamori

Squad 6:

Captain: Byakuya Kuchiki

Lieutenant: Renji Abarai

Squad 7:

Captain: Sajin Komamura – wonder what he’s hiding behind that mask? hehe

Lieutenant: Iba Tetsuzaemon

4th Seat: Jirobo Ikkanzaka

Squad 8:

Captain: Shunsui Kyoraku

Lieutenant: Nanao Ise

3rd Seat: Tatsuhusa Enjyouji

Squad 9:

Captain (former): Kaname Tousen

Lieutenant: Shuhei Hisagi

Squad 10:

Captain: Toshiro Hitsugaya

Lieutenant: Rangiku Matsumoto

Squad 11:

Captain: Kenpachi Zaraki

Lieutenant: Yachiru Kusajishi

3rd seat: Ikkaku Madarame

5th seat: Yumichika Ayasegawa

Squad 12:

Captain, 2nd Generation Head of Research and Development: Mayori Kurutsuchi

Lieutenant: Nemu Kurutsuchi

Squad 13:

Captain: Joshiro Ukitake

Lieutenant: unnamed after Kaien Shiba was slain

3rd seats: Kiyone Kotetsu and Sentaro Kotsubaki act as the second-in-commands, taking care of the day to day affairs after Kaien died and since Ukitake is ill.

-- Rukia Kuchiki is also part of Squad 13, she bears no officer's rank
